Hi! There have been a few occassions now when I have been editing invoices and the option to edit dissapears. Just now I open two and edited them. I went back to my invoice list, clicked the number of the invoice I next would like to edit and there was no red x or pencil icon in the upper right hand corner to allow me to edit it. It usually does appear with time, but it has happened enough times now that I thought I'd write in. Thanks |

Hi Allie - This is a good question ... the edit symbol is available on finalized invoices as long as no payments have been applied to the invoice. Once a payment has been applied against an invoice (even if it doesn't pay the invoice in full), the invoice can't be changed. If necessary, you can delete the payment, then edit the invoice and re-finalize it, and then add the payment back in.
