Hello -
Just a heads-up tip from JT (my husband) ... he has been testing iForgeAhead on his Droid, which includes a dictation feature in any data entry field.
He has added customers (names, addresses, directions, etc) and horses using the voice feature. It works great, and is great for him because he hates to type but loves to talk!
Just to be clear, the voice feature doesn't operate the program ... you can't say "Edit" and have the screen switch to edit mode. But for any text field where you can type, when the Droid keyboard opens there is a microphone symbol and if you click that, it records what you say and transcribes it to text. Sometimes you have to edit it, but if you speak clearly it generally gets it right.
Let me know if you try this and how it works for you. Also, I'm curious if other types of phones have a similar feature, so let me know.
Thanks!
