Is there any way for us to make an external back up of our data? Not sure if this is even possible but just thought I would ask? One possible solution would be if we could migrate the information back and forth between the pc forge ahead and iforgeahead. Again, not even sure if that is possible but would be nice to have the data saved somewhere offline as well! If not, maybe the option to print out master copies of your contacts and schedule? Just throwing out everything I could think of! Thanks for the great product! Tony |

You're welcome, and thanks for the great question! Getting the data from one program to work in another program is very difficult (even if both programs are from the same company!). Providing the data migration feature that allows current Forge Ahead users to migrate their Forge Ahead data into iForgeAhead when they get started is extremely complex, and requires looking at each field, in each record, in each table, and then getting it into the proper format to work with iForgeAhead. A major advantage of the web-based platform supporting iForgeAhead is that all access of the system - from any device - uses the same database. This eliminates the need to "sync" data from one device to another, which is always challenging and can result in additional problems. Your iForgeAhead data is automatically backed-up each night, so there is no need to create your own backups. We will be adding features that allow you to print your contact list, schedule, and a number of financial reports. Please let me know if you have any additional questions - |
